FAQ

  • An Escape room is a game where you need to cooperate to find clues and solve puzzles within an hour. It will require being observant, problem solving and working as a team to achieve the main goal of the room.

A great and fun experience for a group of friends or for co-workers as a team building exercise. Why not for a date or bachelor/bachelorette parties?

It is a common misperception that it is a physical activity - it is not. Dexterity at most. And no previous knowledge is required.

  • Our game-master will meet you at the entrance and you will be informed of the whereabouts of our lockers for jackets, bags etc. And you’ll be invited to have a seat in our lounge area. Here we will have a little chat and we’ll go through some basic but important information, such as our in-room rules and emergency exits. We take a team picture that will be given to you after the game, and we suggest you come up with a team name. Just for fun :)
Then you will be invited to the pre-room where you will have a seat and be shown a short film to get immersed in the chapter story of the room you are about to play. Once you’ve taken in the backstory you will be led to your room and the challenge will begin!

You will now have to work as a team to look for clues and solve puzzles. If you get stuck you can be given hints from the game master. After the game is completed our game master will lead you back to the lobby. You are then welcome to ask a million questions, buy a soda and talk about your experience. Or just grab your things from the locker and wave goodbye, if you’d rather get going :)

  • Short answer: Have 90 minutes to spare. Arrive on your scheduled time.

Long answer: The room itself is limited to 60 min., but the whole visit will take about 90 minutes. You will be given some information before you play and see a short introduction film. Afterwards we’ll have time for a chat and go through any questions you might have.

Don’t be late, but don’t be TOO early either. 5-10 minutes before is good enough. Otherwise we might still be with the previous group.

  • Between two and six people per room.

We currently have four rooms, but soon enough we’ll have five. This means we will be able to have 30 people playing at once.

We also offer a portable escape game, that takes up to 50 players.

  • All our rooms are in English. However, our game masters speaks Swedish as well. If you need something to be translated, we will help you. (this will not be added on to your amount of clues of course).

  • Short answer: You don’t have to, but we recommend it! ;)

Long answer: All of our rooms are part of one cohesive story, The Maxim Saga. By playing in chronological order you get the full experience.

However, if you’re looking for an escape room experience where you’re just there for the puzzles and don’t really care about the when and why, then by all means play in any order you like :)

  • We want you to have fun at Anigma! And for some, “fun” is about hanging out and having a good time. For others it’s being super competitive and focused with eyes on the prize!

We’ll leave it for you to decide how you want to have fun.

You can get hints if you get stuck to make sure you get to experience the whole room.

If you want a bigger challenge, the clues can be limited to when you ask for them yourselves. We usually discuss this before the game.

If you’re competetive we have a score board. In order to end up on it you’re only allowed to take help with three puzzles.

  • Short answer: No minimum age, but there has to be at least one adult in the room.

Long answer: Although our escape rooms are mainly meant for grown up children, we welcome a younger audience as well!

We believe it’s very individual how challenging it is for kids. And we leave it up to you as parents to decide weather they will be able to enjoy the experience or not. But generally they get the hang of it around the age of 9-10.

  • You may cancel up to one week before your appointment.

You may reschedule up to 48h before your appointment.

    You may only reschedule once.

Cancellations later than 48h before the appointment and no-shows will be charged for by invoice.

  • Up until 14 days before your appointment you may cancel, reschedule or adjust the amount of players.

Should the number of players change 14 days or less before your appointment, we charge 50% for those that are absent. Larger parties require more staff and thus increase our costs.

  • Sure thing!

As long as less or extra players don’t effect the amount of rooms needed, you don’t need to inform us in advance. Otherwise you have to contact us.

  • We have lockers with padlocks where you can store your things during the game. You will hold on to the key yourself.

  • We accept Swish.

But card or invoice is possible too.

  • The address is Östra Tullgatan 1. We’re situated in central Malmö, right between the Central station and Värnhemstorget, it’s a 12-minute walk from either way.

Bus line 3 stops at Drottningtorget, which is about 150m from us. If you drive there are usually several spots available on the street outside.

  • Not in the sense that our rooms share the same vibe. Our rooms are very different from each other. The backstory to the rooms however, are connected through a story. Guess you could say that’s our theme!

  • No siree Bob. Angima is one of a kind. But of course we’ve been inspired by other escape rooms, board games, movies and tv-series throughout the years. Read more under ‘About us’
